Honda Shadow Trike, 750cc V twin

This is a custom-made trike with sidecar attached.

I am disabled and not allowed to drive a bike. I built this as 'the wife' said she was getting a bit too old (her words not mine) to sit on the back of my other trike. This mean we enjoy riding again and hope to visit more Club events this year.

The sidecar was made in the Isle of Man, by Ewbank (the carpet sweeper people), but unfortunately for 'the wife' this sidecar does not clean up my garage.

The Honda Shadow VT750c, with 6 speed gear box, which does not appear on Insurance Companies' databases, as it's an American Import. Insurance company refused to insure, so we cancelled, went in through a website comparison site and insured it through the very same company, which was being funny, but for less premium. Computers ehh!?

I have modified the brake and clutch to suit me - with my paralysed right arm. If anyone out there would like to contact me to ask questions about modifications for disabilities, I'd love to help.

The trike was a Christmas present from me, to me. I got it from a bloke I know who sort of 'has these things lying around'.

I found the axle on Ebay, it was a Reliant Robin axle, the sidecar was also bought from Ebay. The wife loved me buying this stuff, as she got Nectar points to spend on things she wanted.
