1984 Mini 25

Although it doesn't look like one, "Vince" is a Mini 25. This was a special edition produced to celebrate the 25th birthday of the Mini.

The car was originally Silver with Mini 25 graphics, velour seats and door cards and the Mini 25 logo on the seats and leather stering wheel. As with all silver Minis from the mid 80's it was not long before the silver started to turn brown and after a few years of chasing the rust, a new shell was used for a complete re-build. From early on in the build, the spec started to change, first the colour was changed to blue, then the seats to leather, then a burr elm dash with matching cappings and finally alloy wheels, by the time Vince hit the road, you would be hard pressed to identify him as a Mini 25
